EVENT DETAILS So, once a month I get a massage and I'm
always
tired for about 24 hours after. So, today's 4.5 KM is just a short loop both
starting and finishing at Lawrence Station.
This hike will be on a combination of single track dirt trails, paved park paths and neigbourhood sidewalks, which could be covered in ice and snow. In terms of climbs, there are probably about 2 steep, but not long climbs and a flight of stairs. There is no washroom on the hike, sorry. We'll aim for a pace of 3.5 to 4 KM/h I usually carry a pair of icers with me from
the first snowfall of the year until the end of
April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack
to deal with any potential ice. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE THIS WEEKEND ON LINE 1 BETWEEN ST. CLAIR & LAWRENCE STATION. | |||||||
| |||||||
How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | Lawrence Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard and 6 Stations north of Bloor. We'll meet on the North-West corner of Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, right beside the City Market. For those of you driving, there's free parking
located on the south side of Lymphstone Avenue, which
is 1 block south of Lawrence, east of Yonge.
