Executive Interim COVID-19 Rules for
the Toronto Outdoor Club NOTES Thank you for your
understanding and your cooperation as we keep
each other safe during the pandemic. EVENT DETAILS So, I sprained my left ankle .... again. Its
beginning to feel better, but its not 100%, so
today I'm going to do a slow easy hike to So, today's 5 KM hike will be a loop both
starting
and
finishing at St Clair West Subway Station.
This hike will be a combination of sidewalks, paved/grave park paths, and some forested dirt trails. In terms of hills, there's a super gradual climb to the north end of the park and another short climb right at the end. There is no washroom on the hike, however there is one located inside Loblaws above St. Clair West Station. We'll aim for a pace of 3.5 to 4 KM/h I usually carry a pair of icers with me from
the first snowfall of the year until the end of
April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack
to deal with any potential ice. | |||||||
| |||||||
How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | St Clair West Station is located on line 1
Yonge/Spadina. We'll meet outside the entrance
on the north side of St. Clair avenue, which is
on the side with the Loblaws.
For those of you driving, the subway entrance is located on St. Clair, just east of Bathurst on the north side. In terms of parking, the Loblaws beside the station has free parking. (Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt) Map
