Executive Interim COVID-19 Rules for
the Toronto Outdoor Club NOTES Thank you for your
understanding and your cooperation as we keep
each other safe during the pandemic. EVENT DETAILS So, I sprained my left ankle .... again. Its
beginning to feel better, but its not 100%, so
today I'm going to do a slow easy hike to So, today's 5 KM hike will be a loop both
starting
and
finishing at High Park Subway Station.
This hike will be primarily on sidewalks, with a few paved paths, but they could be covered in ice/snow. In terms of hills, there one climb of about 35 meters. We'll attempt do a washroom stop about 45 minutes into the hike. We'll aim for a pace of 3.5 to 4 KM/h I usually carry a pair of icers with me from
the first snowfall of the year until the end of
April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack
to deal with any potential ice. | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | We'll meet outside the Quebec Avenue exit of High Park Station. High Park Station is located on Line 2, Bloor-Danforth, 1 stop west of Keele & 2 stops east of Jane. If its cold or wet, I'll just be inside the station doors. For those driving, Quebec Avenue is located one block west of High Park Avenue, north of Bloor. In terms of parking, there is free street parking in the neighborhood north of the station, but please read the signs carefully as the parking rules rotate on the two sides of the street based on what day of the month it is.
