NOTES Thank you for your
understanding and your cooperation as we
keep
each other safe during the pandemic.
EVENT DETAILS I've randomly picked this hike out of my personal hiking database for your morning. Distance is about 9 KM and will go
between Sherbourne Subway Station to
Eglinton West
Station.
The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, gravel trails, single track dirt trails, sidewalks and cemetery roads. Most of the hike, we'll be climbing, but most of it is pretty gradual.
Sadly, there won't be any washrooms on this route. I usually carry a pair of icers with me from
the first snowfall of the year until the end of
April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack
to deal with any potential ice. PLEASE NOTE THAT LINE 1 IS CLOSED BETWEEN SHEPPARD-YONGE & ST CLAIR THIS WEEKEND | |||||||
| |||||||
How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | We'll meet at the south-east corner of Sherboune & Bloor, just outside of Sherboune subway - if its cold or rainy, I'll just be inside the station doors. For those of you driving, there's a parking lot located on Selby Street, which is just one block south of Bloor, just west of Sherbourne. Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt. MAP
