NOTES Thank you for
your
understanding and your cooperation
as we keep
each other safe during the
pandemic. EVENT DETAILS So, I've randomly picked this hike out of my personal hiking database for your Sunday morning. This 11.5 KM hike will go between
Rosedale Station
& Davisville Station.
This hike will be a combination of park paths, neighborhood sidewalks and wide dirt/gravel paths. In terms of hills, there's probably about 1 decent climb and a few shorter climbs. However, the majority is pretty flat. We'll do a washroom stop at the Loblaws located about 45 minutes into the hike. We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h. Post hike if anyone's interested, I'm going to head over to Shenanigans Pub post-hike for a drink, if anyone would like to join. I usually carry a pair of icers with me from
the first snowfall of the year until the end of
April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack
to deal with any potential ice. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE THIS WEEKEND ON LINE 1 BETWEEN ST. CLAIR & LAWRENCE STATION. | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | Rosedale Subway Station is located on Line 1 (Yonge), one subway station north of Bloor and 4 south of Eglinton. Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt near the lone entrance of the station For those of you driving, there a Green P parking lot located just south of the station on the west side of Yonge Street.
