Snowboard and Ski Day at Moonstone/Mount St. Louis! (2/3/2008)

We'll meet at the Downsview car pool at 8:00 am as the drive is about an hour and 45 minutes to Mount St. Louis/Moonstone.

Come enjoy a day of snowboarding and skiing at Moonstone/Mount St. Louis Ski Resort. The ski resort has about 39 runs with 13 lifts, 2 cafeterias and a rental shop. You can also relax in the chalet if you want to take a break between runs.

You can bring your own equipment or rent. You are responsible for paying for your ticket and equipment upon arrival to the resort. The rates are (plus applicable taxes):

Adult lift ticket - $46.00 full day (8:30 - 4:30)
Adult lift ticket - $41.00 half day (12:30 - 4:30)
Beginner lift ticket - $32.00 full day
Beginner lift ticket - $27.00 half day
Beginner package (lift ticket & snowboard or ski rentals) - $49.00 full day & $44.00 half day
Discover snowboard or ski package (lift ticket, snowboard or ski rentals & a group lesson) - $53.00 full day & $49.00 half day

Required Items to Bring:
appropriate winter clothing (hat, gloves, googles or sunglasses, windproof/waterproof jacket & pants - no jeans)
$$ for rentals, tickets or lunch (cafeteria on premises)

Recommended Items to Bring:

- snowboard or ski equipment (including wrist guards & a helmet), if you have it - the resort will rent these items as well

Follow Hwy. 400 north, towards Barrie. Continue to follow Hwy 400 North to Parry Sound/ Sudbury (26 km) until you reach exit 131 (Mount St. Louis Road). When you see the exit stay to the right and go under the bridge. At the stop sign turn right to go over the bridge. You will see Mount St. Louis Moonstone to the right.
