NOTES Thank you for
your
understanding and your cooperation
as we keep
each other safe during the
pandemic. EVENT DETAILS So the random hike picker has selected this neighborhood & ravine combo hike for your evening. This 11 KM hike will go between Islington Station to Old Mill Station. This hike will be on a
combination of wide park
paths, neighborhood roads /
sidewalks and some single
track dirt trails.
In terms of hills, there's probably about two of 25 meters or more. There should be a washroom stop available at the Petro Canada Gas station located about 1.75 hours into the hike. I usually carry a pair of icers with me from
the first snowfall of the year until the end of
April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack
to deal with any potential ice. | |||||||
| |||||||
How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | We'll meet at Islington Subway Station at the east exit to Islington Avenue - also located just outside Bloor Islington Place. Islington Station is located on the bloor- danforth line (line 2), 1 station east of Kipling & 14 stations west of St. George Station. For those of you driving, we're
meeting on
the
north east side of Islington &
Bloor. Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt MAP
