Itinerary:

So, trying out not just a new hike tonight, but starting and leaving from a new station (for me) tonight.

This 10 KM hike will both start and conclude at Bessarion Subway Station on Line 4.

The majority of the hike should either be on paved trails or through neighborhood. This winter, a section on the East Don Valley Trail is closed, so there will be a slight detour during the hike.

In terms of hills, I believe there's about 4 of them, so should give you a bit of a challenge.

Sadly, there won't be any washrooms on this hike. If you get to the hike early, you could use the one in MEC.

For those of you who like to know more about the mystery of Bessarion Station, you can watch a short mockumentary about it 'click here'.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack. You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Bessarion Station is located on Line 4 (SHEPPARD), two stops east of Yonge-Sheppard and two stops west on Don Mills. If driving, the station is located on Sheppard between Leslie & Bayview.

So, we'll meet at the Sheppard Avenue East South Side exit from the station, which is across the street from the Shell Station.
