We'll be meeting at 6:45 for the 7:15 show at Yorkdale. Our meeting spot will be by the corridor between the Rainforest Cafe and the H&M, just below the theatres. Please call if you cannot find us.

The "other" children's fantasy series is making it's big screen debut. The Golden Compass is a much darker fantasy then the Harry Potter books (although I admit I am bias!) and probably resemble C.S. Lewis' Narnia more than Hogwarts, in any case, prepare yourself for a dark, brooding world that, from the previews, looks mysterious and compelling. This is the first book from Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy.

The movie time and location is approximate since the times and locations have not been announced yet. I'll have more details as the date gets closer, but please note that I will be out of the country and unavailable between November 28 and Dec 5th
