NOTE: THE CARPOOL LEAVES THE KIPLING STATION SOUTH EXIT @ 9:30 AM So today's hike is going out to wine country for a fun and short waterfall and winery hike. This is relatively easy hike where we'll pass two waterfalls before heading over to Fatherstone Winery for a wine & stone oven pizza lunch.
On the trail we'll be following part of the Bruce Trail along with some other trails for an 10 KM route. It will be only 6 km to the winery and will be all roads post lunch. DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE WRITE IN THE NOTES SECTION, THE AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR!, or else you might be moved to the wait list until this is completed. Please be aware that there have been ticks noted in the area and I suggest wearing long pants and bug repellent containing deet. If you cannot walk the entire distance, please do not sign up for this hike. Also, if you are choosing to meet at the event, please ensure that you are on time In terms of washrooms, there will be a stop within the first hour into the hike as well as at the winery. | |||||||
