Itinerary:

THE CARPOOL DEPARTURE TIME FROM SHEPPARD WEST STATION IS 10:00 AM

This is my fourth time leading 12 KM hike around Crawford forestry and lake area. Viewpoints include the beautiful Crawford Lake and a great lookout.

This is an moderate hike that involves some hills, uneven terrain, including some nice fun rocky areas and probably some muddy spots.

Please bring a lunch and at least 1-2 Litres of water. Pack a lunch as we will stop for a bite at the Crawford Lake visitor's centre, about 7 KM into the hike. For those of you that are interested, there is an Iroquoian village near the lunch spot to find out some history about the area.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER THE CARPOOL QUESTION REGARDING THE AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR! If this is not completed, you may be moved to the wait list until this question is answered

If you cannot walk the entire distance, please do not sign up for this hike.

There are no washroom facilities at the start of the hike, but there will be one at the lunch spot
