Seaton Trail - Section 1 (9 KM) (12/15/2018)

You are STRONGLY encouraged to read this page in its entirety before signing up. If you'd like to attend, we ask that you abide by our rules and procedures as a time/cost saving process (with an end result of keeping membership free and lower cost events).

Itinerary:

NOTE: The carpool leaves Don Mills Station at 10:30 AM.

So, we're going to do section 1 of the Seaton Trail. This is an in and out hike for about 9 km.

There are quite of few climbs and great lookouts, so participants should be ready for a bit of a challenge.

Pack a lunch as we will take a break at a lookout near the halfway point. Sadly, there aren't really any washrooms on this hike, but there is an out house at the start.

Individuals willing to drive will get priority on the wait list, if required.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE WRITE IN THE NOTES SECTION, THE AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR, or else you may be moved to the wait list until this is completed!!!

Also, if you sign up and say that you're 'Meeting At the Event,' please ensure that you arrive on time.

Approx. Address: Concession Road 3, 43°51'50.0"N 79°05'54.8"W

From Don Mills Station

Exit Don Mills Station and turn left onto Sheppard Avenue.

At the first light, turn left onto the Don Valley Parkway.

In about 1 KM, follow the signs onto the 401 Eastbound and follow it for 24 KM.

Exit the highway at Regional Road 1, Brock Road (EXIT 399) and travel NORTH for 3.4 km

Turn left at Concession Road 3 for 1.5 KM

Parking for Grand Valley Park will be on your left.
