Long Centennial Out and Back (~24km/14.5mi, ~5-5.5km/hr) (9/22/2018)

Itinerary:
We'll begin the hike at Long Branch GO Station, hike on paved and dirt/gravel paths alongside Etobicoke Creek + a hydro corridor up to Centennial Park.

We'll stop at a Tim's near there for a break, then head back the way we came.

This is NOT a beginner's hike--the distance is long and the pace, while not super fast, will not be slow.
If you haven't ever hiked at least a D4 hike with the TOC before, please tell me a bit about your RECENT (within last 3-6 months) hiking experiences. There will be breaks only as absolutely necessary along the way.

2-3L of water (what you need for the day) Snacks as needed Weather appropriate clothing Extremely comfy hiking boots/shoes Cell phone (fully charged!)

Headlamp/flashlight just in case

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The Long Branch GO Station can be reached by GO Train or by Bus #123 from Kipling station (toward Long Branch Loop).
We will meet AT THE STATION BUILDING.
I'll be the one with white-gray hair, red pack, "California Republic" hat, and glasses.
It's up to you to plan ahead and arrive before the departure time.

Notes:
This hike will go forth in rain, snow, wind, or beautiful sunshine.
Please arrive on time. I will silence my cell phone once the event begins.
