Let's take a walk along the Waterfront Trail from the very east end of Toronto to Frenchman's Bay in Pickering, and back.

The first and last 2km will be through a forest, the rest will be either on the sand or along the waterfront trail right beside the beach.

This is the route we will take.

south thru Lower Highland Creek Park
east along the Waterfront Trail to Frenchman's Bay
stop for a lunch break on a breakwater, surrounded by water.
retrace our hike to the starting location

BY TRANSIT: Please check TTC schedules and allow enough/extra time to arrive before the start time.

BY CAR: Park on a side street near the start of the hike.
