Night Hike: Playter Estates to Deer Park (7 KM) (4/19/2018)

Itinerary:

So, this is scheduled to be the 800th event I've coordinated in the TOC, so I want to take you along some of my favorite and different trails in the city.

For this hike, we'll walk from Chester Station to St. Clair Station for a 7 KM route.

This hike will go along a combination of neighborhood paths, gravel/dirt trails and the decommissioned Don Branch.

As normal, I've thrown in the couple climbs to make your life difficult.

Following the hike, if anyone is interested I was going to head over to one of my favorite restaurants at St. Clair Station for their veggie burger, which is amazing, if you'd like to join for a bite.


Required Items to Bring:
  • Good footwear - Hiking Boots or Shoes Preferred
  • Water 1-2 L and snacks
  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Flashlight/Headlight

    Event Directions:

    Chester Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth subway line. The Station is located 4 stops east of the Yonge line. We'll meet inside the station entrance.
