Itinerary:

The terrain is variable with some challenging sections. Length of hike is about 15 km, the hike will go at group pace. This hike is suitable for intermediate hikers and fit beginners.

A "there and back" hike, we'll start on the Ray Lowes Side Trail, continue on the Main Trail, pass by Borer’s Falls, and follow Spenser Creek through the beautiful natural landscapes in Spenser Gorge, reaching our destination at the lower Webster’s Falls. We'll return via the same route.

Maximum group size is set to 1 so that everyone starts on the wait list, passengers will be added as drivers become available. Members willing to drive may get first priority on the wait list.

Please note on a winter hike, you should always have a pair of icers in your pack. When it is icy on the trail, you'll need them. You can purchase good quality icers at MEC, I recommend the KAHTOOLA MICROSPIKES TRACTION DEVICE.

Food option for after the hike at a Portuguese seafood restaurant in Hamilton.
