Itinerary:
I recently came across a new pizza slice joint (new to me anyway) that I have heard good things about. Let's hike there and grab a slice!

We will meet at Summerhill Station and follow this route:
- west along side streets and parks
- northwest through Nordheimer Ravine
- north through Cedervale Park
- east along the Beltline trail
- south through Mt Pleasant Cemetery and the Vale of Avoca back to Summerhill Station

Route Rundown:
Total Distance: 11.5km
Pace: Between 4.5 - 5.0 km/h
Expected Time: 2 - 2.5 hrs + pizza time
Trails: Mostly dirt/gravel trails with some paved sections and sidewalks
Terrain: Mostly flat with some rolling sections and a decent hill near the end.

After the hike I will take anyone interested to a nearby pizza joint for a slice, but this part of the event is optional. This place features pizza with paper thin crust and has 5-6 types of slices to choose from plus their daily special, including a few vegetarian options.

Please plan to arrive before the posted start time, we will be leaving immediately at 10:30am. I will turn my phone off once we begin, so any calls or messages will likely not be returned until the end of the hike. This hike will go forward rain or shine or snow. A high risk of a thunderstorm (80%+) 24 hours prior may result in postponement or cancellation.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a scheduled subway closure on Line 1 between Lawrence and St. Clair Stations. If you need to traverse this section of the subway to get to the hike, please give yourself some extra time.
