Itinerary:

I haven't been to Distillery District for ages, and now is probably the best time to go and enjoy all the beautiful lights and the Christmas Market.

Tuesday to Thursday, the Christmas Market is free of charge and is much less crowded. You don't have to pay $6 and wait in line to get there if you avoid Friday and weekend. But the market closes on Thursday at 9 pm. Let us start our hike late afternoon and have some time for the Market.

This hike will go from Broadview Subway Station Parkette which is just outside of the Broadview subway station at the corner of Broadview Ave and Erindale Ave.

We will proceed from the Broadview Subway Station Parkette to the Chester Hill Lookout to enjoy the view, and from there, we will go up north to Pottery Road. From Pottery Road, we will turn into Lower Don River Trail and continue on the trail all the way south until we reach the Distillery district.

It is up to you how much time you want to spend there. After a walk in the district, we might want to stop for a hot or cold drink, but this is optional.
