DISTANCE:6 km PACE: about 5 km/h DIFFICULTY: D3 This is PART 1: We will meet at 900AM at Downsview subway station passenger pick up. We will walk a bit on the road then we will come to G-Ross park and we will end at Dufferin and Steels. At Dufferin/Steels, you can either take steel bus to Finch subway or Dufferin bus to Downsview station. Total hike is 6 KM. Drop off is allowed. Depending on the group, we will hike at 5.5km/hour; Or you can join us for PART 2 hike.
Note:If you come on a winter hike, you should always have a pair of icers in your pack. You won't have to use them very often, but when it's icy on the trail, you'll need them. The icer is held to your boot with straps, and keeps you from slipping and sliding. You can purchase good quality icers at MEC ( KAHTOOLA MICROSPIKES are recommended.) | |||||||
