Itinerary:
Finally, my injury got better that I would like to do some relaxing paddling and hiking on this lovely Thanksgiving weekend. It is an easy trip. We welcome people who never paddle before. However, it is expected that at least one person in a canoe should have some experience of paddling.

When you sign up, please indicate your paddling experience.

I would like to wake up in the early morning around 7:00am and start paddling at 9am sharp or earlier. If you would like to sleep in, this is not a trip for you. And also I paddle in a relaxing speed. We will paddle together as a group.

Note: If we get more drivers, I will increase the number of the participants (maximum 6 people). If you are a driver, please indicate how many people and gears that you can take on your car.

Since I plan to depart after my work, we do not do the ¡§traditional carpooling¡¨. The carpool location will depend on the driver¡¦s departure location and time. I will use email to connect a driver with the passenger(s). Therefore, please check your email regularly. If I ddin¡¦t hear the answer from you, I will call you in order to make arrangement before the departure. If you are a driver, please indicate what time do you want to leave Toronto and the location (better near a subway, so the passenger can meet with you).

Friday
4:00pm driving from Toronto (different location and time depending on the drivers). We will camp at a crownland not far from the access point (100 metres; parking lot on Bell Lake Road). Detailed direction will be sent by email.

Saturday
-7:00am wake up in the morning
-8:30am-9:00am depart from the campsite„³pick up your canoe from the outfitters and paddle to the Silver Peak Trail
-10:30am start hiking to Silver Peak and have lunch. Please bring a day pack + dry bag + lunch for this small trip.
-After the hike, paddle back to the Access Point.
-Load your bag in the canoe. Paddle to the campsite (Turbid Lake).

(The reason why we doing this is because we book the campsite at Turbid Lack, which is on the opposite site of the Access Point. It makes sense that we hike first and then paddle to the campsite later. We would like to hike to the Silver peak when it is still bright).

Sunday
-Paddle to another campsite at Decon or Fox Lake and set up the tent.
-Relax or explore more lakes

Monday
-Paddle back to the access point
-Drive back to Toronto

Before you sign up, make sure that you really want to go. If you drop out in the last minutes, your canoe partner cannot go to the trip. That would be sad!

Since it is a last minute trip, time is quite tight. I have booked the campsite, but please book your canoe. I will pair people up and you two can decide who is going to book the canoe. If you have problems booking canoe, please call me and let me know.

Here¡¦s the details of canoe rental:
Canoe booked at Bell Lake Access; Killarney Kanoes: 1-888-461-4446

There will be no pre-trip meeting, all the contact will be through email. So please check your email regularly throughout the day. I will text or call you if you haven¡¦t hear back from you. If I still cannot hear from you, please forgive me that I need to remove you from the trip.

Food arrangement:
Please prepare your own food. But if you would like to share, you can prepare a bit more. lol. You need to bring your own gears as well. There are something that we may be able to share. Let me know what you do not have. I can assist you to rent gears. Also I will use email to arrange some shared gears.

Leave no trace! Please bring a bag to bring all your food and garbage out of the park. And do not bring glass or can. This is the rule of the park.
