NOTE: THE CARPOOL LEAVES DOWNSVIEW @ 9:30 AM

This hike to Belfountain Conversvation Area and Forks of the Credit Provincial Park hike is a decently difficult hike with rolling terrain with a few steep ascents.

Most exciting feature of this hike, will be passing a couple small water elements, such as a reservoir in Belfountain and a small waterfall in the Forks of the Credit Park.

Please bring a lunch and at least 1-2 Litres of water. We will stop for breaks to enjoy the countryside, but there will not be any drop offs. Plan is to stop about 9 km into the hike at Belfountain Conservation Area for lunch, especially because there's an ice cream spot.

Total Distance is approx. 21 km

If you cannot walk the entire distance, please do not sign up for this hike.

Note: There are no washroom facilities at the start of the hike, but there are a couple options along the route.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER THE CARPOOL QUESTION REGARDING THE AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR!!! If this is not completed, you will be moved to the wait list, until I get an answer.

    Event Directions:

    Event Directions: Leaving Downsview - take the Allen Road south to the 401.

    -Travel west along Highway 401 to Highway 410 (15 KM).

    -Merge with Highway 410 and follow it North for approx. 35 km (NOTE: HWY 410 will eventually turn into HWY 10) - Also, if you go into the town of Caledon Village, you've gone too far north!!!

    -Turn Left at Escarpment Side Road (NO TRAFFIC LIGHT) and travel west for 1.5 KM.

    Meet at the corner of Escarpment Side Road and Wiloughby Road.

    Note: There are no washroom facilities at the start point of this hike and very few on Highway 10.
