Lawrence to Rosedale via Brick Works 17k (11/1/2015)

Itinerary:

I was talking to a mountain biker I hadn't seen in a while and he told me about some dual use bike trails near the Science Centre
I have not hiked them yet, so....

DISTANCE: 17 km

PACE: 5 km/h

DIFFICULTY: D3.5 1 km of bike trails may have some steeps!

This is the route we will take.

  • Start at Lawrence subway station, (S.E. corner of Yonge St & Lawrence Ave)
  • east through parks to Sunnybrook Park
  • explore some bike trails near the Science Centre
  • to the Brick Works for a short snack break
  • hike to Rosedale subway station

Event Directions:

We'll meet on the South-East corner of Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, in front of the 'Locke' branch of the Toronto Public Library across the street from the Lawrence Subway Station Entrance.

Lawrence Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard and 6 Stations north of Bloor.

Look for me with a whistle on my backpack.
