Jokers Hill Conservation Area 15 km (10/3/2015)

Itinerary:

THE CARPOOL LEAVES DOWNSVIEW STATION AT 10:15 AM SHARP

DISTANCE: about 15 km

PACE: about 5 km/h

DIFFICULTY: D3.5 (because of the hills)

I came across these 2 small but interesting connected conservation areas on the western portion of the Oak Ridges Moraine: Jokers Hill Conservation Area and Thornton Bales Conservation Area.
They are very hilly with a lot of interesting twists and turns.

There are so many forks and interwoven trails that we will be lost most of time and will hike for about 3 hours trying to find our cars!!
We will stop for a few breaks along the way.

MAX hikers: about 15 (+ or -)
I set the Maximum Group Size to 4, because I can take 3 passengers, but this event can accommodate about 15 hikers.
Passengers will be added as additional drivers become available.

Members on the waiting list who are willing to drive may get first priority.
Alternatively, you can drive and meet us at the hike starting location.
