Itinerary:

Mono Cliffs is a great place for a spring hike. It is a long one but relatively easy--only one steep climb and mostly rolling hills and some great lookouts. It is part of the Bruce trail system. The distance is estimated at 16.3 Km, but we may not take all the detours the hike suggests. This hike is a great beginner/early season conditioning hike. Check out our previous trips to Mono Cliffs.

Mono Cliffs contains a significant section of the Niagara Escarpment, including crevice caves, an upland limestone plain, and talus slopes. The park features two prominent masses of rock, separated by erosion from the main rock body. When this occurs, the resultant feature is called an outlier.
