Itinerary:

Total hiking distance: 13 km @ 3km/h

This is a photo hike so you must have a camera to participate - an iphone is okay. After our hike we'll go for refreshments or a bite to eat.

Our route is as follows:

  • Trans Canada Trail: Walk to and circle closest kettle lakes. Return to Trans Canada Trail and railway bridge junction (5km, 1.5 hours)
  • Trans Canada Trail: Bridge, railroad tracks, hydro station are focus. (0.75km, 0.75 hours)
  • Bruce Trail: Hike along river until Dominion Rd. River is focus. (3.5km = 2.5 hours)
  • Bruce Trail: Bushwhack to top of ridge and return to trailhead. Landscape is focus. (3.5km = 1.5 hours)
