Hike For A Pint 2014 (11 KM) - Episode 11 (5/9/2014)

Itinerary:

So here we are, Episode 11, of Hike for a Pint, get excited.

You must be 19 or older to sign up for this hike.

This hike is pretty easy, with the majority of the walk on paved trails, however there are some dirt and gravel sections. I've also thrown in a couple hills just to challenge you.

We'll start at Lawrence Subway Station.

  1. West to the Burke Brook, then east through Lawrence Park to Sunnybrook, loop through Serena Gundy and back west through Sherwood Park
  2. Find our pub

NOTE: our pub is within a km of Eglinton Subway Station.

Total distance traveled = 11 Km

Anyone who signs up for this hike, must be willing to come and socialize at the pub or else you will be taking a spot away from someone else.

Water and snacks

Flashlight or headlight

Weather appropriate clothing

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

We'll meet on the South-East corner of Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, near the 'Locke' branch of the Toronto Public Library across the street from the Lawrence Subway Station Entrance.

Lawrence Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard and 6 Stations north of Bloor.

Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt, possibly drinking a coffee.
