EVENING HIKE: BRICKWORKS’ RAVINES


Nothing like a winter hike after work! We’ll be starting from Chester Station and following this route:

Depart from Chester Station
West through Todenmorden Mills
North on the Don Branch
South through Crothers Woods
Through the Brickworks
Northwest up Moore Park Ravine
West along Moore Park to Heath Street
Southeast through David A. Balfour Park
South to Craiglegh Gardens
South to Castle Frank Subway Station
East to Broadview Station


Terrain will vary from sidewalks to dirt/gravel trails. Total distance 11km at an average pace of 4-4.5 km/hr. We will hike together as a group, with everyone remaining in earshot at all times. Please do not sign up if you want to hike at a different speed. Option for a pint afterwards….

NO SHOWS: Anyone dropping out within 24 hours of the start of the event will receive an automatic no show - no exceptions. Please respect the waiting list and if you can't attend remove yourself before the cutoff time

-->>Be sure to bring icers/traction devices and your OWN flashlight. Trails may be slippery, icy, and waterlogged. Participants without appropriate gear may be dropped from the hike for their own safety.
