Itinerary:
If you will be in Toronto on Victoria Day because you would rather avoid the heavy traffic on the highways, this event is perfect for you. We will meet at 11:00 a.m. at Cherry Beach and cycle to and from the Leslie Street Spit. The Spit is a 5-kilometre long peninsula that reaches out into Lake Ontario from a point along Toronto's eastern waterfront . Our objective will be to explore the full length of the Spit on our bicycles, and enjoy the wonderful scenes and perspectives it provides. We will aim to return to our starting point, Cherry Beach, by 5 p.m. However, after exploring the Spit, if people are interested, we may head out to a local pub for some food and drink.

See http://www.friendsofthespit.ca/spit_about.htm for more information about the Leslie Street Spit.
