Itinerary:

NIGHT HIKE: High Park to Union

So this is one of my favourite of Fletcher's urban hikes. It's pretty flat, with only a slight downhill as we go past Grenadier Pond. We'll meet in front of the McDonalds at Runnymede + Bloor + follow this route:
  1. Start at Runnymede Subway Station, outside the McDonalds, which is on the north- east corner of Runnymede and Bloor.
  2. South along Kennedy Ave.
  3. East to High Park via The Palisades and Valleymede Rd.
  4. South through high park to the waterfront trail.
  5. East along the waterfront trail to the downtown core.
  6. Travel east to Union Station

Total Distance Covered 10 KM. Dogs are welcome. Following the hike there will be an optional trip to a nearby pub for those who want hot chocolate or a beer. .

DIFFICULTY: I'm not a speed hiker and will be leading this at about 5.0 km/hr. Please don't sign up if you want to go faster or slower :)

NO SHOWS: Please remove yourself from the event before the cutoff to avoid a No Show.
