PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Once you've reviewed the event details, and decided you'd like to join us, you MUST sign up at the bottom of this page.You will then make your payment for this event at the venue, NOT in advance to the TOC.

This could be the last weekend for skiing this year. And Hardwood's website indicates that they received some new snow last night, groomed their trails and have all of them open. Since the temperature is forecast to remain below zero through Saturday we can expect good conditions on Hardwood great trails.

We will ski in small groups according to your level and pace. There is a chalet with food and drinks, though it only serves basic food. Therefore, you might want to bring your own lunch.
A trail pass costs $21.50 (plus tax) per person. If you need to rent equipment, it costs an additional $28.00 (plus tax) for a total of $59.50 (plus tax) per person.

We will leave Hardwood by 5pm at the latest and be back at Downsview subway station around 6:30pm.

Those who want, can go out to dinner once we are back in Toronto.

For drivers, and possible drivers…
1. How many passengers can you take with you, if you take skis and if you don’t take Skis? Also, can you take skis on roof racks? Important for people with long skis.
For everyone...
2. Are you taking skis up with you? Or will you rent them?
3. If you are taking your skis, how long are they? – Please estimate if you are unsure.

Required Items to Bring:
Appropriate clothing for the weather and activity: layered, breathable clothing is best. Water (1-2 litres), snacks/lunch
And For drivers: The coordinator suggests you have the event organizer and other carpool drivers cell/info upon your person and a winter safety car kit - including direction/driving maps, up to date roadside assistance info. Winter tires are recommended.
