Itinerary:

The terrain is variable, with hilly sections. Length of hike is 21 km, pace will be a brisk 4.5 km/h. Map 19.

A loop hike traversing a variety of trails in scenic Mono Cliffs Provincial Park.

This hike is suitable for intermediate hikers. It is NOT suitable for beginners. Hikers coming on this event are expected to have some previous D4 level experience. If you don't have a history with the TOC, please include some comments in the notes about your hiking background to convince me that you can keep up.

Members willing to drive and regular D4 hikers will get priority on the wait list.

Note: If you come on a winter hike, you should always have a pair of icers in your pack. You won't have to use them very often, but when it is icy on the trail, you'll need them. The icer is held to your boot with a set of Velcro straps, and keeps you from slipping and sliding. You can purchase good quality icers at MEC.
