Itinerary:
Let's go for a LEISURELY stroll through Heart Lake Conservation Area and enjoy the rustling of leaves on the woodland trail before the snow falls. We will walk the woodland trails around the Heart Lake keeping a pace of about 4.5 to 5 km/hr. The trails have few hills but is otherwise fairly flat. We'll aim to keep the hike to 3 hrs.

We will meet at a small parking lot on the south side of the Sandalwood Parkway, just west of Heart Lake Road. NOTE: You can only access this parking lot travelling EAST on Sandalwood Parkway.

Non-Bramptonions note: you're welcome to join us but there won't be a carpool - you'll have to get out to Brampton under your own steam...

The hike will go rain or shine. The trail may be muddy and slick in spots. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for conditions and the weather.

The event organizer may bring a medium sized dog along on the hike.

The park is closed for the season, thus, there are no open washroom facilities, and the bushes are all bare. So plan accordingly... just saying..:)
