Night Hike: Castle Frank Loop (11 KM) (11/1/2012)

Itinerary:

Due to a portion (a bridge) of the Don Trail, the Hike, 'The Flats' has been changed to 'Castle Frank Loop'

Start from Castle Frank Subway Station and follow this route

  1. Depart Castle Frank Subway Station
  2. North to Craiglegh Gardens
  3. North to Brickwork
  4. North on Bayview Road trail
  5. North on Old Pottery Road & Don Branch
  6. North through Crothers Woods
  7. Back south along the Don Valley Recreational Trail
  8. West through Riverdale Park & around Necropolis Cemetery and past the best stop sign in the world.
  9. West on Rosedale Valley Road
  10. End at Castle Frank Station

Total length of this hike is 11 KM at a pace of 4.5 - 5.0 km/h

NOTE: Hiking Boots/Hiking Shoes recommended along with a flashlight
