Run: Hills of Swansea Village (8/20/2012)

Itinerary:

This run will take us from High Park to Old Mill via a specially crafted hilly route. Steady jogging pace (8 km/h or 7.5 min/km), mostly paved surface.

The run will end at Old Mill subway station. Going 3km East along Bloor St. will take you back to High Park in case you need to pick up your car. Alternatively, you can stash your car by Old Mill station (King Mills or Etienne Brule parking lot) before the event.

  • Water bottle
  • Snacks

  • TTC token/pass to return back to High Park Station.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Traveling by subway -- get off at the High Park Subway station on the Bloor line. Go to High park avenue and turn right (southbound). Cross Bloor and enter the park, wait at the Map sign.

Parking is free at High Park.


Notes:
Dog participation policy:
  • Information about your dog must be included in your registration.
  • Your dog is familiar with running on hard surfaces.
  • You are responsible for your dog and should be ready to leave the group if your dog needs a break or any other kind of attention.
  • Your dog will be on a short leash at all times.
