Itinerary:

So I've noticed lately there's been a bit of photo hike craze in the TOC. I'll be the first to say that I don't qualify for those events, mainly because I don't own a camera.

The reason why this event is so late is because the views of the city are often much nicer at night and its been way too warm in the evenings this day. The event should end by 11:30 or 11:45 PM, plenty of time before the subway closes.

For this hike, I do recommend a flashlight.

However, poor I am with a camera, I love looking at views of the city, especially at night so for those of you who enjoy viewing or photographing the city at night, this hike is for you.

On the map above, I've highlighted with pink Xes area which have a great view of the city, including hills, lookouts and bridges in the Don Valley.

We will start at Broadview Station and follow this route
  1. Cross the Bloor Viaduct
  2. North through Rosedale
  3. Past the Clorey Hill Lookout
  4. North to Health Street and connect to the Moore Ravine
  5. South to the Brickworks
  6. View the Brickworks Lookout
  7. North on the Don Brach
  8. South on Old Pottery Road
  9. East through Tobomorden Mills
  10. South past the Chester Hill Lookout
  11. End back at Broadview Station

Total distance is 10 KM with 2 Hills
