There may not be snow on the ground, but its cold enough for some ice, so let's go for a skate at the Christie Pits outdoor arena. It's about two blocks away from the Christie Subway Station on the Bloor-Danforth Line. We'll meet at the subway and walk over to the rink together. We'll skate for about an hour or so and then head back to the subway.

You will need to bring your own skates to this event as there are no skate rentals at Christie Pits. There is an indoor changing area where we can put our skates on before we head to the rink. Bring a backpack to keep your shoes or other things in, or you can leave them in the changing area/by the rink (at your own risk).

Required Items to Bring:
Warm clothing, or layers.
Backpack to store shoes and clothes.
Skates (no rentals).

Helmets are encouraged.

Christie Pits Skating Rink is in the northwest corner of Christie Pits Park, which is directly across from the Christie Subway Station on the Bloor-Danforth Line.
