Walk to Brickworks Farmers Market (8 KM) (12/31/2011)

Itinerary:

Since there is a peak in interest for this event, I'm running this event again. This is relatively easy hike and we will be starting 9:00 am, so when we're done, you'll still have the rest of the day available.

We'll start at Chester Subway Station and head down into the Don Valley. We'll take the Don Valley Trail north to Crothers Woods, walk through the Moore Nieghborhood & then take the Moore Ravine down to the brickworks.

We'll chill at the farmers market for about an hour before finishing our journey. Anyone who wants to drop out at the Brickworks, there's a free bus shuttle back to Broadview or you can take the TTC bus to Davisville.

Then we'll follow the path back through the ravine out to Castle Frank Station.

Total distance for this hike is 8 KM and it's 6 km to the brickworks. We'll plan to walk at a pace of 3.5-4.5 km/h.

Following the event, I'll escort everyone who needs to go back to Chester Station from Castle Frank.

Chester Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth subway line. The Station is located 4 stops east of the Yonge line.

We`ll meet inside the station doors.
