Itinerary:

Since I have a deep fear of competitive shopping, especially boxing day shopping, so to stay as far away from the shopping malls we'll hit the parks of North York.

We'll start from North York Centre Station and follow this route.
  1. Leave station
  2. West through York Cemetery
  3. North through the neighborhood of Willowdale
  4. West along the Hydro Corridor
  5. South through the West Don Parkland & Hinder Property
  6. East through Burnett Park
  7. South through Earl Bales Park
  8. East through Gwendolen Park
  9. North through the neighborhood of West Lansing
  10. End at Sheppard-Yonge Station

If anyone wants to, you can join me for a pint after the hike at one of the local pubs.

I hope we can walk at a pace of 4.0-5.0 km/h.

NOTE: It could be icy and snowy in several places, so you may want to bring hiking shoes or hiking boots or icers.

Total distance is about 14 KM.
