Itinerary:
The Canadian Aboriginal Festival is the “signature event” for Canadian Aboriginal peoples. The festival has something for everyone: the Canadian Aboriginal Music, performing arts venues, traditional foods, shopping at more than 150 booths, and the largest “Pow Wow” in Canada.

The Pow Wow attracts over 1,000 dancers from different parts of North America. It starts with a Grand Entry when all dancers dance into the dance circle in full regalia to the beat of the drums. The motion, colour and sound of the Grand Entry are usually spectacular and emotional. Grand Entry is scheduled at 1:00 p.m. The Main Stage performances start an hour before the Grand Entry. This is part of Aboriginal cultural expression and an excellent opportunity for you to shop for special gifts.

The hike will be a nice walk to enjoy our Saturday morning.

Starts at Union Subway Station(northbound) and ends at the Exhibition Place.

We'll be going at a pace of 3.5 to 4.5 KM/H. Total distance ~ 5 Km(approximately 1 to 1.5 hour). We will meet at union station between the ticket sales office (for the train station) and Baguette Bakery Cafe.
