Itinerary:

This is a nice gentle walk

It may be muddy in some areas, so hiking shoes/boots are recommended. However, much of the walking will be on paved paths/streets.

Start from York Mills Subway Station and follow this route,

North through the Don Valley Golf Course
Travel through Earl Bales Park for the Next 5 km
Back south through the Don Valley Golf Course
North through Gwendolen Park
East through the neighborhood of West Lansing.
End at Sheppard-Yonge Station.

NOTE: There will be a couple hills on this hike and please bring a flashlight.

Total distance traveled = 10 Km

We'll be going at a slowish pace of 3.0-4.0 KM/H.

If you cannot handle the slow pace of this event or would like to walk long-distances ahead of the group, please do not sign up for the hike, this is not for you.

If coming from the 401

Drive south along Yonge St into the valley. Look for York Mills/Wilson Ave. We'll be at the North-West Corner

If coming by Transit

Travel to York Mills subway station on the Yonge Subway line. 3 Stops south of Finch, 7 stops north of Bloor. Look for the group at the North-West Entrance.
