Itinerary:

So the Toronto Outdoor Club has a table set up at Mountain Equipment Coop (MEC) this weekend. I promised to help the club between 2 PM - 5 PM on Saturday, November 12.

Instead of taking the normal route, which is subway to King station, then walking, it would be more fun to take a hike down there.

Also, if you've been wanting to go to MEC for while, but haven't had the time, this is the hike for you.

We will meet out side the entrance of Broadview Subway Station

  1. Depart Broadview Subway Station
  2. South through Riverdale Park
  3. South along the Don Valley Trail
  4. West across the Waterfront, passing Sherbourne Commons, Sugar Beach, The Docks, The Toronto Music Garden & Rememberance Park.
  5. North through Fort York
  6. North-East through Wellington Place
  7. END @ MEC

TOTAL DISTANCE COVERED: 12 KM

I hot to walk at a steady pace of 4.0-5.0 km/h.
