Itinerary:
We will ride from Burlington GO station to Jordan following the Waterfront Trail. We will be riding mostly on paved surfaces, a combination of bike paths and some roadways as well. So, you must be somewhat comfortable riding with automobiles.

We will meet at Burlington GO station outside the main building (where the GO ticket wickets are) at 8:50 am (the train from Toronto arrives at 8:42). If taking the train, keep in mind that ideally, there should only be a maximum of 4 bikes per car train, two at each end. Bikes are placed behind and in front of the 2 vertical steel poles, next to the seats as you walk in the door. Please allow passengers to get on board first.

We will ride south to Lakeshore Blvd and then take the waterfront trail heading west. This a great trail that often goes besides the water. Bring snacks for the ride; we will stop at Jordan for Lunch. We should have enough time to explore Jordan which is a neat little town a bit before riding back to Burlington GO station to take the 3:40/4:40 pm train back to Toronto. Total riding time will be around 4 to 5 hours.

Note that if there is chance of heavy rain and/or thunderstorms, the ride might be canceled and you will be notified by email. Check your e-mail the night before of the event.

Be sure that if you sign up for this event, you are able to cycle a distance of at least 70 to 80 km in a day.
