Itinerary:

Today we will walk the third section of the Etobicoke Creek Trail in Brampton. If there is interest, we will stop for a pint at the end of the walk at Tracks Brew Pub which is located near the end of our route.. (how convenient!... you say...)

To start the hike, we will meet at the parking lot that is located at the intersection of Church Street East and Ken Whillans Drive. After 6 PM, parking in this lot is permitted and is free. We will then head south on the Etobicoke Creek trail towards Steeles Avenue. This time, the route will involve street crossings and traffic lights so our average pace will be slower than in the previous 2 sections. We'll spend about 45 minutes walking and see how far we get and then double back. We'll walk about 8 km in total. The plan is to return to the starting point (and the pub) by about 8:00 PM.

Non-Bramptonions note: you're welcome to join us but there won't be a carpool - you'll have to get out to Brampton under your own steam...
