Itinerary:
We will launch from Cherry Beach, tour the Outer Harbour, paddle through the Eastern Gap, and gradually make our way to Olympic Island for the TOC Picnic.

This event is primarily for those who already own a boat and can transport it. There are no rentals available from this location.
Rentals are available to anyone from the Harbourfront Canoe and Kayak Centre. As this is across the inner harbour and we will not be passing that way, if you wish to rent, please make your own arrangements.
You may also rent at more reasonable prices from The Complete Paddler near Islington and the Gardiner Expressway, or the Toronto MEC. In either case you will still need your own transportation.

Be aware of the potential for high winds, which may make passage of the Eastern Gap difficult. Otherwise the harbour is well sheltered, and it is possible to stay very near the shore at all times.

Required Items to Bring:
A kayak, canoe, or a partner who has one.
CSA approved Personal Floatation Device or lifejacket.
Whistle, bailer, waterproof flashlight, and 15m bouyant heaving line.
A packed and waterproofed snack.
