CASA LOMA STAIR CHALLENGE

Forget the stair master, the step climber and all that indoor gym stuff. With all the rain we've had the snow and ice are melted and we can go run up and down the Baldwin Stairs leading up to Casa Loma (sometimes referred to as The Death Climb Of Spadina!) We will meet at St Clair West TTC Station and walk down to Casa Loma. Bring a headlamp as it will be dark before we are done.

THE CHALLENGE: This will be a one hour workout with everyone going at their own pace. The challenge is not about how many times you can go up and down the stairs, or how fast you can go (although that's fun too!), it's about pacing yourself so that you can make it the full 60 minutes before your legs give out!

WEATHER: Planning events around the weather at this time of year is a whole other challenge.... so this event is going ahead rain or shine! Bring rain gear just in case and something warm to change into if you don't live closeby.

Required Items to Bring:
  • Good running shoes
  • Head lamp
  • Layered clothing suitable for the weather (rain gear too)
  • Energy gel/bars lots of water
  • Enthusiasm!
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
