Night Hike: High Park and Humber River (4/18/2011)

Itinerary:

So let's go for an easy walk in high park.

We'll leave from the N.E. corner of Runnymede and Bloor, which is located just outside Bloor Subway Station

We will start in the north part of High Park (Bloor st) and we will hike around the grenadier Pond.

Then back north along Colbourne Lodge Dr. to the top of High Park. Then we'll take the far eastern route south again past Grandier Pond and then held south to the Boardwalk.

We will continue to the west through Western Beaches until Humber River Bridge.

Upon crossing the bridge, we will be exploring the Humber River trail. We will end at Old Mill subway station.

The Hike is approximately 11 KM

  • Good hiking boots
  • Water
  • Flashlight or headlight

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Runnymede Subway Station is located on the Bloor Subway Line. MEET IN FRONT OF THE McDONALDS AT THE CORNER OF RUNNYMEDE AND BLOOR.
