Itinerary:

We will be hiking in Hardy Lake Provincial Park.

There is a network of trails we will do for an approx. total of 19k (we discovered in the spring that the stated distance of 15k on trail maps is off by about 4k). Participants should be able to hike at a 3.5k/hr pace.

The trails are lovely - the trail around Hardy Lake is gorgeous and there is another pretty trail there that is little used.

This is a great outing if you are just getting into hiking or if you'd like a peaceful day in beautiful surroundings.

While Hardy Lake is a non-operating park, there may be a fee associated with hiking in the park. Hardy Lake is a bit of a drive (Gravenhurst) but a great spot.

Note that the coordinator has two dogs which may be on this hike. Any participant wishing to bring their dog must first speak to the coordinator.
