Itinerary:

Ever wondered how you could lighten your pack on backpacking trips? Have you seen backpackers out on the trail with enviably small packs? Want to carry less weight to allow yourself greater distance and speed when you backpack?

Join us November 7 for a gear demonstration of ultralight and superultralight backpacking gear.

Steve Evans, avid back-country adventurer and ultralight practitioner, will discuss the various techniques, concepts, and gear used to achieve ultralight backpack weights. There will be a practical display of some of the lightest backpacking gear available, some custom made and others commercially available. This is your chance to get to see ultralight gear in use

Steve designs and builds ultralight gear at suluk46.com.

This presentation will be at High Park - we will meet at the subway first then go to the park and begin to set up and demonstrate gear.
