Itinerary:
We will meet outside of Union Station, at the south-west corner of Front Street & Bay Street.

From there, we'll walk about 5 minutes along Bay Street to the Martin Goodman Trail. We'll put on our skates, and get going on the waterfront trail!

Once on the pathway, we'll skate east. We may scoot down to follow the paved pathway through Clarke Beach Park, and then back up Leslie Street, to end up back to the waterfront trail. We'll continue east past Ashbridge's Bay Park, to Woodbine Beach.

Depending on how much energy people have at this point (and depending on how much light there still is), we have the option to continue inline skating all the way until the multi-use pathway ends just past Beaches Park.

We'll then turn around and skate west along the lakeshore, stop just before the harbourfront, take off our skates and walk back to Union station.

This is an evening skate for all levels! In terms of speed, we'll aim to go at a good speed that challenges us, but that also enables us to appreciate the beauty around us. If we find that members of the group are moving at very different paces, we'll split the group, and meet up again when done.

Notes:
1. Rentals will not be arranged for this trip. Please bring your own inline skates, or make sure that you can borrow someone else's in order to participate.
2. It's likely that there will be some falls on this trip. Helmets are highly recommended for this event. It is a good idea to please bring a helmet, and wear your helmet the whole time that we are skating. Knee pads, elbow pads, and wristguards are also recommended unless you're an expert skater.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This trip is weather dependent! The trip will be cancelled if it is raining, as the paths will be wet and slippery, which is neither safe nor ideal for our inline skate event. If you sign up for this event, please do check your e-mail on Wednesday evening for final confirmation of the trip.
