ROM Walk: The ROM and its Neighbours (8/9/2006)

Itinerary:

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) offers free walking tours of various historically significant neighbourhoods in Toronto. Their guides provide interesting background and tidbits of information about the different buildings and features.

This tour will take in the area around the museum itself, including the Ombudsman's Office, Church of the Redeemer, Royal Ontario Museum, Taddle Creek, Royal Conservatory of Music, and Flavelle House. Afterwards all who want to can go for a drink/supper in one of the area's many, many good restaurants.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The Museum is on the west side of Queen's Park Circle, just south of Bloor St. West. and Avenue Rd. If taking the subway, get off at Museum station on the Spadina/University line. We'll meet at 5.50 in front of the museum.

Notes:
Since this is not a TOC-led walk, we can't wait for latecomers and will follow the itinerary of the ROM guide.
